Week Six: Free Choise

I see the sage-covered desert
I smell the freshness of the morning
I hear the scream of the hawk
I feel the caress of a breeze
I taste the dew on the wind
I think the new day is born

Week Five: Rhyming Poem

I can't do a thing with my hair-do.
I've tried but it's simply no use.
I can't make it stay where I put it today
with styling gel, hair spray, or mousse.
No bobby pin, brush, or bandanna,
can get my hair under control.
I've tried every comb, every clip in my home,
and covered my head with a bowl.

Week Four: Narrative Poetry

SOMEDAY...
Someday I will play the guitar
Someday I will have a job
Someday I will get married
Someday I will have kids
Someday I will be rich
Someday I will be famous.

Week Three: Limerick

There once was a lass in the staffroom.
who found a long and thin broom
she waved it about
with a scream and a shout
and cleaned up the whole of her classroom.

Week Two: Haiku

one lone wailing voice
in the lovely cold forest
